Moon Brothers Landscaping was started in 1986 by Ron Moon. The company name was Ron’s Lawn Care. In 1992 Ron passed the company on to his son Kirk and in 1995 the name was changed to Moon Brothers Landscaping. As Kirk led the company into the present the values have remained the same as they were 1986. We are dedicated to giving superior service and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Meet the Crew
Kirk assumed the ownership and management of the family lawn care business in 1988 and quickly built Moon Brothers Landscaping into a successful full service landscape company. With years of hands-on experience combined with extensive industry knowledge and leadership ability, Kirk has led the company to its current position as one of the leading landscape firms in central PA. His personal philosophy of emphasizing strong customer service coupled with a proactive and innovative approach to business has resulted in this success story. Outside of work, Kirk and his wife Beth spend their time with their three children, Zach, Andrew and Meredith.
Administration/ Marketing
Bud has been employed as a designer for Moon Brothers Landscaping for 7 years. Bud is a 1981 graduate of George Mason University and has been working in the Landscaping design/build industry in Central PA since 1988. Bud has an ICPI certification. Bud lives in Richfield, Snyder County with his wife Cathy. His hobbies include sports and archery.
Joyce has been employed as an Administrative Assistant with Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2003. She lives in Lewistown, Mifflin County, with her husband Jim. They have three grown daughters. Joyce’s hobbies include reading and playing with her grandchildren.
Jim has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2011 in the Marketing Department. Jim graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Education/Zoology. He lives in Lewistown, Mifflin County, with his wife Joyce. They have three grown daughters. Jim’s hobbies include fishing and hunting.
Design
Tim has been employed as a designer for Moon Brothers Landscaping for 7 years. He has worked in the landscaping business for 27 years. Tim has an ICPI certification, a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Penn State in 1983. Tim lives in Union Township, Centre County with his wife, Candi, and three children, Joshua, Jared and Alyssa. His hobbies include softball, raquetball, hunting and hiking.
Joe has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2011. He has worked in the landscaping business for 19 years. Joe was the Designer, Central Figure for the 2006 Philadelphia Flower Show. Joe attended PSU where he received a Bachelors degree in Landscape Contracting. In 2005 he received the Glenn E. Styer Award for Excellence in Landscape at Penn State University. Joe lives in Belleville, Mifflin County. His hobbies include farming, hiking and photography.
Operations
Brian has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping for 5 years. He has worked in the landscaping business for 12 years. He has an ICPI and NMCA certifications. Brian lives in Philipsburg, Centre County with his wife Patti and their youngest daughter Kira. His hobbies include fishing, hunting and camping.
Andrew has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping for 6 years. He has worked in the landscaping business for 9 years. Andrew attended Penn College for 2 years studying nursery and landscaping. Andrew lives in Julian, Centre County with his wife Sara. His hobbies include hiking, kayaking, hunting and camping.
Geoff has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2007. He has worked in the landscaping business for 4 years. Geoff lives in Morrisdale, Clearfield County with his wife Melissa. His hobbies include basketball, trail riding by horseback.
Tom has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2008. He has worked in the landscaping business for 3 years. Tom resides in Lewisburg, Union County with his wife, Alicia. Tom’s hobbies include video games, and restoring old cars.
Chris has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2010. He has worked in the landscaping business for 5 years. Chris lives in State College, Centre County with his wife Lauren Allshouse. Chris’s hobbies include hiking, hunting, fishing and caving.
Greg has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2010 (and the summer of 2005). Greg grew up in the nursery and landscape business and has worked in it for the past 10 years. Greg is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and where he received a Bachelors Degree in Evironmental Planning. Greg currently lives in Richfield, Snyder County with his boxer puppy “Boone”. His hobbies include fishing and being outdoors.
Christopher is working this summer with Moon Brothers Landscaping. He is a full time engineering student at Penn State University and spends his breaks in Reedsville with his family. Christopher enjoys running, golfing, racquetball and frisbee.
Christian is working this summer with Moon Brothers Landscaping. He is a full time architecture student at Penn State University and lives in Boalsburg. Christian enjoys biking, canoeing, and remote control cars.
Drew is working this summer with Moon Brothers Landscaping. He graduated as Indian Valley High School’s class of 2010 Salutatorian. Drew is now a full time student at Bucknell University and comes home to Reedsville during his breaks. Drew enjoys biking, playing the guitar, painting and lifting weights.
Daniel has been employed by Moon Brothers Landscaping since 2008. He has worked in the landscaping business for 6 years. Daniel lives in Lewistown, Mifflin County.
Jeff came to Moon Brothers Landscaping in 2011. He is a graduate of Central Mountain High School and has served in the Marine Corps Reserves. Jeff lives in State College with his wife Laurel and their 3 children. In his off time Jeff enjoys biking, camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
