Outdoor "rooms" or "living spaces" have been fundamental terms used by landscape professionals for years. Recently however, the concept has grown in popularity among homeowners. Amid the growing costs associated with travel and vacationing away from home many homeowners are re-directing their resources to create new comfortable and useful spaces at their residence. Many of these spaces offer a full range of kitchen amenities including grills, sinks, refrigeration, food preparation and serving areas, and even wood fired pizza ovens. Outdoor fireplaces and firepits offered in wood or gas are being incorporated into many of these landscape projects. Here are a couple of ideas that may spark your imagination.

Dear Kristen and Crew,
I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the job that you did landscaping the front of my house. I had to leave on Thursday before any of the planting was done, and I did not return until everything was finished. It is really beautiful-just what I wanted, neat and easy care. It really dresses up the front of the house. My neighbors have commented favorably on it as well. Thank you for a job well done.

Just to reiterate what Sara has said, we are very pleased with the work that you and your team have done on our hill. The results to this point are just wonderful! As you have said, this is a very good start and we will undoubtedly do more work starting with the excellent foundation that you have laid. In all, you and others at Moon Brothers have done great work for us on all the projects we have asked you to do and you may be sure that there will be more projects coming your way in the future.

Well your team was here yesterday and in very short order had the leaves all cleaned up. The yard looks great. At one point I noticed one fellow, the same guy I spoke with about trimming the bushes, hunched over to pull some leaves out of a patch of now-dead flowers. We appreciate those little touches.

Then this morning the borough came and took all the leaves at the curb away. This personifies the way we see your work here. Done well and timed well! Thank you.
